FAQ

  • Do I need to call ahead before I bring in my consignment?
    Yes. Zelda Zonk operates by appointment. It is a good idea to call us before you come by to make sure we are not full for the day. If there are cancellations we may be able to sneak you in.
  • What sizes are offered at Zelda Zonk?
    We offer size 0 to 20. Selection may be limited in certain sizes from time to time because inventory depends on what our consignors bring us. We will do our best to keep a nicely curated selection in all sizes.
  • Do you offer credit up front for consignment?
    No. You are welcome to use your store credit as soon as items sell, however, we do not offer cash or credit up front.
  • How long will you keep my items on display?
    Our consignment period is 60 days.
  • What happens if some of my items do not sell?
    If there are any unsold items left at the end of your consignment period you can either call us and let us know you will pick them up within one week of the end of your consignment period, or do nothing and we will donate them for you. All unsold items are subject to donation.
  • Do you accept older items if they are classic styles?
    Generally, we will pass on older items even if they are classic styles. Slight variations in cuts due to age or older tags just don’t sell very well for us. This means that we’re looking for styles that were purchased new within the past 5 years. We do make certain exceptions for some vintage items from the 80s and earlier, but the pieces need to be exceptional to be considered.
  • How do I collect my payment for items that have sold?
    You are welcome to call, or come into the store to either use store credit or request a check. You may request that one check is mailed at the end of your consignment period at no charge to you.
  • Can I return an item I purchase at Zelda Zonk Consignment?
    Due to the nature of consignment, items are generally non returnable. We are selling items for other people so all sales are final.
  • Do you offer gift certificates?
    We do offer gift certificates. Gift certificates can be purchased in person.
  • Do you only accept items by season?
    As a general rule, we accept items by season but we will consider designer items year round. January - April: Spring April - July: Summer July - September: Fall October - December: Winter
  • Do you accept vintage, suits, wedding dresses?
    We will occasionally consider vintage pieces but are very selective. Unfortunately suiting and wedding dresses are not something we are able to sell.
  • Do you accept mens clothing?
    We do! Come check our our growing men’s section!
  • Where do you donate?
    We donate to a variety of nonprofits around the Seattle area including YWCA’s Dress for Success http://www.ywcaworks.org/dfss and Jubilee http://www.jwcenter.org/.
  • Do you host private parties?
    Yes! Contact jennie@zeldazonkconsignment to discuss your event.
